The William Morris Society in the United States invites you to join us for an informal virtual visit with historian Peter Stansky on November 30, 2022 at at 8:30 pm Eastern (5:30 pm Pacific). Peter will share his work and involvement William Morris with us. Since Peter is a longtime member of our society, this event surely will allow us also to reflect on the history of our own society over the years.

Peter Stansky received BAs in History from Yale and King’s College, Cambridge and a Ph.D. in History from Harvard University. He taught at Harvard until 1968, when he joined the Stanford faculty, becoming in 1974 the Frances and Charles Field Professor of History. He is the author of Redesigning the World: William Morris, the 1880s and the Arts and Crafts, William Morris in the Oxford Past Master series and Another Book that Never Was among other books.
