International Kelmscott Press Day
On June 26th, 2021, The William Morris Society in the United States is organizing an international celebration to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Kelmscott Press and the 125th anniversary of the publication of the Press’s edition of The Works of Geoffrey Chaucer.
To mark the occasion, libraries, museums, and other institutions across the world will create special displays, host activities such as talks and printing demonstrations, and commission and show work by contemporary book artists and printers.
We also encourage collectors and anyone who loves the Kelmscott Press to take part! You can follow along and join in the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #KelmscottPressDay.
