The William Morris Society US is happy to announce that the 2025 Joseph R. Dunlap Memorial Fellowship has been awarded to Lucy Day for her project “Art and Work: How William Morris and the Paris Commune Inspire Contemporary Performance Practice.” Lucy is a folk musician and teacher. Her project will set Morris’s The Pilgrims of Hope to music for the first time and will explore the intersections of music and labor in Morris’s time and today.
