Conferences
The William Morris Society in the United States regularly hosts and co-hosts panels at two major academic gatherings, the Modern Language Association (MLA) and College Art Association (CAA) annual conferences.
We have been a presence at MLA conventions from 1975 onwards, and an affiliated Allied Organization since 1983. We now sponsor one to two MLA panels annually. In 2020, we began our affiliation with the College Art Association, hosting our first CAA Annual Conference panel in February 2021.
We are also proud of our continuing tradition of sponsoring and co-sponsoring symposia and conferences on Morrisian subjects.
