Calling all those who love textiles! Join us for a visit to the Textile Museum in Washington, DC on September 23, 2023 from 10am – 12pm. We will meet with the museum’s staff members Tracy Meserve, librarian of the Arthur D. Jenkins Library and WMS-US board member, and Karthika Audinet, the coordinator of the Cotsen Textile Traces Study Center. We will be looking at an assortment of William Morris textile fragments from the collection (see a preview on the museum’s website) and then a museum docent will give the group a tour of the rest of the museum.

If you are interested in staying longer to socialize with other members, join us at the restaurant Tonic at Quigley’s, located across the street from the museum. Please indicate in your RSVP if you will be able to stay for lunch. Items on the lunch menu range from about $15-25. We hope you will join us!
