On Friday, April 24, at 12 noon Eastern Time on Zoom, join the William Morris Society in the United States for an online talk on craft and Impressionism by Shelby Bennett.
The Society’s Conference Travel Grant supported Shelby’s participation in the WMS-US-sponsored session at the 2026 CAA conference on “The Materiality of Text in Nineteenth-Century Art” co-chaired by Giovanna Guzzi-Rossetti, Anglia Ruskin University, and Lulu Ao, Loughborough University.
Shelby Bennett is the Curatorial Assistant for European Art and Prints and Drawings at the Dallas Museum of Art. Previously, she held a curatorial position at the Kimbell Art Museum. Bennett earned her Master of Arts in art history from Texas Christian University, where she focused on French art of the nineteenth century.
